Bramberg am Wildkogel is a lovely small village surrounded by the mountains. Silence, peace and beautiful nature. A ride on the mountain bike, long or short walks directly from the chalets, the Pinzgau Tal and National Park Hohe Tauern are made for this.
The village Bramberg
The village Bramberg is situated on approximately 850 m. Chalet Brammetje is located a bit higher, at 1024 m. The views are stunning and for sure unique, as they allow you to look out freely over the Pinzgautal.
The national park Hohe Tauern
The National Park Hohe Tauern is suited for endless, beautiful walks and bike rides. Bikes are for rent at the local tourist office. The starting points of different walk- and bike routes are close to the chalet.
Swimming and recreation
It is also possible to swim and fish in the lake in Hollersbach (the lake can be seen from the chalets). This lake is only 10 minutes away (by car). The lake provides recreation for all ages, as there are grasslands to lay in the sun, attributes for kids to play with and a restaurant.

In the Leisure Centre Hollersbach there is a beach volleyball space. Besides an adventure park for the small kids, you can also find a skate park. An outdoor swimming pool can be found in Mühlbach and one in Mittersill, wich has also a wild water channel and other water attractions like water slide. You can go hiking and climbing in the Hohe Tauern National Park and the Kitzbüheler Alps. Cyclists can pick up their bikes for the Tauern biking trail and various mountain biking trails. You can learn about the local nature by joining one of the programs offered by guides trained by the National Park. Always make sure to carry the guest card with you, as you will receive discounts with various lifts.
The Wildkögel is known by insiders as an ideal flight mountain! The Pinzgau flight school has landing areas in the places Bramberg, Neukirchen and Piesendorf. The Krimmler Falls are the fifth highest waterfalls of the world with their impressive height of drop of 380 m. Signposted walking routes from 4.5 to 21 km in various difficulty levels!

In Hollersbach, You can find the Klausnerhaus. This farmhouse dates back to 1350 and hosts a botanical garden, showing over 700 different species of plants and herbs. An interesting herbal teaching trail starts at the Klausnerhaus. The church of St. Vitus is Neo Roman from year 1893.
